Board of Directors
KC VITAs is currently seeking a MARKETING DIRECTOR to serve on our Board of Directors. This passionate and dedicated individual would help create, implement, and lead our organization’s yearly marketing strategy. Working closely with the other members of the Board of Directors, the Social Media Committee, and other volunteers, the MARKETING DIRECTOR is a crucial part of a team assembled to focus efforts to best serve KC VITAs’ mission and positive impact in a sustainable way.
The GRANT WRITER is responsible for writing and submitting a yearly cycle of known grant opportunities to help fund the organization's pursuits, as well as seeking out new grant opportunities. The GRANT WRITER works closely with the Board of Directors (especially the Executive Director, Artistic Director, and Treasurer) in the grant writing process, and is paid a monthly stipend of $100 to execute our current yearly grants. For all additional grants, a percentage of awarded funds is also paid to the GRANT WRITER. In its current state, the GRANT WRITER is a non-voting member of the Board of Directors, but the organization is open to structural changes for this position should the candidate prefer voting rights.
